Our head chiropractors JB and Sophie grew the clinics from a self-run business to our current team of highly qualified chiropractors and complementary therapists, reaching over 20 successful years of chiropractic and counting. Whilst chiropractic care remains the backbone of the clinics, we now offer a wide variety of additional complementary treatments onsite. We believe everyone can benefit from a varied, individually-tailored approach to reaching optimal health. Jean Baptiste Garrone Sophie Gremion Garrone Margaret Heptonstall Brodie Marriott Dean Woods Aurimas Vasiliauskas Jean-Baptiste Garrone, Doctor of Chiropractic Founder and chiropractor, Jean-Baptiste graduated in 1992 from Palmer Chiropractic College West, USA. His journey into chiropractic began in his late teens when he became aware of his passion for understanding the human body as a whole. This naturally led him to the world of chiropractic. During his years spent in California he witnessed the chiropractic profession as the leading force of alternative medicine. He believes an increase in research, growing faith in the body’s own healing powers, and freedom of opinion within the health industry is challenging established medical thinking. JB believes this field has offered him the opportunity to fulfil his passion and discover alternative ways to positively influence the body and mind. He considers chiropractic a preventative and holistic approach to health. After graduating in the USA, JB worked in private practices in France and Italy, before moving to England in 1997. He opened and has successfully run the Chiropractic Health Centres ever since. The emphasis on treatment and education at our clinics stems from JB’s desire to spread the positive impact chiropractic has had on his own life to the lives of his patients. He insists that those working with him at the clinics put an emphasis on communication in order to properly understand and deliver on each patient’s needs. “Our concept is simple, and that is why it works. Influence the nervous system and you will always get changes.” JB insists on practising a variety of techniques, having personally benefited from many in the past, including: Diversified Gonstead SOT (Saccro-Occipital Technique) Network DNFT (Directional Non-Force Technique) Applied Kinesiology Paediatric Neuro seminars Having experienced the benefits of exercise, nutrition, and meditation on his own well-being, JB combines chiropractic with general advice on all these areas to help guide his patients to optimal health. JB is passionate about learning in order to share, challenge, and progress the science of chiropractic. This involves attending seminars and reading research papers on subjects as varied as neurology, nutrition, exercise, or meditation, enhancing the successful management and treatment of his patients. He recently specialised in the treatment of horses alongside his chiropractic clinics, recognising the benefits spinal corrections have on their performance. I had seen a doctor who treated the problem with Amitriptyline (a mild anti-depressant!) and Sumatriptan which works to ease the migraine, however if used on a regular basis has serious long-term effects and has even been linked to dementia!! Margaret Heptonstall, Spinal Manipulative Therapist Margaret Heptonstall qualified as a chiropractor in 1989 at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, a QS 5-star university, focussed on research.
