The successful candidate will have at least 4 years practice-based experience in the UK. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients from a wide variety of industries, from sole traders and partnerships through to large limited companies and groups. Your duties will include: Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies; Preparation of management accounts; Preparation of self assessment tax returns; Preparation of corporation tax returns; Review the work of junior members of staff; and Managing own workload, and that of junior members of staff. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in audit work for companies, charities, legal firms and FCA regulated clients. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent software skills in MS Office and have a good working knowledge of UKGAAP. A competitive salary will be offered, along with flexible working hours and free parking. If you are interested in this role, please send us your CV. His expertise is in taxation, audit and company law and he has served on the board of a number of small and medium sized companies. He also spent time as Finance Director and Company Secretary for an AIM listed mining company. Robert’s interests include martial arts, music and walking, as well as spending time with his wife and three children. Shelley Jones – Client Services Manager Shelley has worked in accountancy for over 10 years and joined Denmark Forrester in 2016. She is responsible for ensuring clients needs are met and is involved in all aspects of the practice. Her main responsibilities include accounts preparation and tax compliance for individuals and companies. Shelley is a member of a local running club and regularly enters events and raises money through charity runs. Georgia Daley – Senior Accountant Georgia has worked in accountancy for 9 years and joined Denmark Forrester in 2023. Her main responsibilities are accounts preparation and tax compliance for individuals and companies. Georgia's hobbies include going to the gym, taking part in a weekly bootcamp, getting stuck into a good book and spending time with her family and two dogs. Louise White – VAT and Payroll Manager Louise joined the practice in 2019 and has become a valuable member of the team. She is involved in bookkeeping, accounts preparation and tax compliance, and is responsible for managing our clients VAT deadlines. Louise is a member of a kick boxing club and enjoys open water swimming and cooking. Jane Collier – Accounts Assistant Jane has been with the practice since 2016 and assists with bookkeeping and VAT returns. Jane can often be found on a golf course in her spare time and enjoys holidaying and playing golf around the world.
