They are highly qualified in their field and are all members of professional associations. Let’s meet the team! Lori Smith Clinical Director DARM, DSEM, DSRM, DIR, DIHM, DCA, Dip Onc. DSMSMTO, STO Reg Lori is our Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience. She holds Diploma qualifications in Swedish, Advanced Remedial & Sports, Indian Head, Oncology massage, Clinical Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Lori is also qualified in Pre & Post Natal Therapy helping women with musculoskeletal conditions that can develop during and after pregnancy. Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Dry Cupping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, Kinesiololgy and Traditional Taping techniques, Hot Stone Massage and Aromafacial Massage. Lori has worked closely with athletes including footballers, rugby players, boxers, runners and cyclists as well motorbike racers. She is the Principal of Grampian School of Massage teaching Swedish and Remedial and Sports Massage as well as developing and teaching workshops. A keen swimmer, hillwalker and cyclist. She has a special interest in Fibromyalgia, Hypermobility Syndromes and working with the elderly. Jackie Gibson Senior Massage TherapistDSM, DSRM, DIHMSMTO Reg Jackie has over a decade of experience as a Massage Therapist. She gained her Diploma in Swedish Massage in 2012 followed by a Diploma in Indian Head Massage in 2013. In 2021 she completed her Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage allowing her to assess and treat injuries and chronic conditions. She is also qualified in Oncology Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Hydrotherm Massage, Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage, Aromafacial Massage, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, and Ear Candling. Jackie has completed Advanced certification in Assessment & Treatment protocols of the Neck & TMJ, Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Foot & Ankle. Isla Munro Sports Therapist/Massage TherapistHND, HNCSMA Reg People’s health & wellbeing has always been an interest to Isla and since leaving school, she took the route of massage therapy and feels it was the best thing she did. Isla’s passion for helping people shines through with everyone she meets. She qualified in HNC Complementary Therapy and is a qualified in Sports Massage Therapist and a Sports Therapist. As well as working in our Peterhead clinic, she works alongside a local football team aiding recovery from their injuries. As a Complementary Therapist, she is qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Swedish, Dry Cupping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Therapy. She is a big believer in self care and looking after the body. She enjoys adventures and holidays with friends and family and keeps healthy by going on walks along the coast and attending the gym. Katherine Mackie Complementary Massage TherapistBSc (HONS)FHT Reg Katherine is the newest member of our Team. She is a dedicated holistic therapist with over 15 years experience. She has a BSc (HONS) in Social Sciences and many years working in health improvement roles within the NHS and Third Sector. She integrates a wide range of skills and therapies including Massage, Reflexology, auriculotherapy, Reiki, Aromatherapy and yoga – each tailored to support mind, body and spirit. she has a warm, client-centred approach and is passionate about client wellness and ongoing personal development ensuring she can offer a rich and evolving toolkit to suit every client’s unique journey. Katherine is dedicated to self care, and all things health and well-being. She enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her family and friends. Diana Andrejeva Sports Massage TherapistHNC, HNSMTO Reg Diana is a SCQF Level 8 qualified Sports Massage therapist having studied at North East Scotland College in 2021. Prior to this she also studied Sport and Fitness at college in 2017 and further training in 2020. In addition, she is trained in pregnancy massage, Dry Cupping and recently completed certification in Advanced Assessment & Treatment protocols of the Hip. Diana is passionate about improving her clients wellbeing. Originally from Latvia, she moved to Scotland at age 13 and is fluent in English, Latvian and Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys weight training, fitness classes and spending as much time as possible with her son having outdoor adventures. Judith Rust Advanced Dietician/Reiki PractitionerBSC HONS, PGDIP DieteticsHCPC Reg Judith is our Advanced Dietician she has been qualified and been a state registered Dietitian since 1998. She currently works for the NHS Grampian and will be to working 1 Saturday a month with us. Judith’s main areas of interest and expertise; GI conditions, weight reduction and behaviour change skills including weight reduction classes, cancer, specialised tube feeding, nutritional support (expertise in weight gain), neurological conditions. Her main attributes include advanced people skills and varied expertise in many different areas of dietetics as well as a positive and uplifting personality to maximise motivation with achieving personal goals. In addition to being qualified in Dietetics, she is also qualified in Reiki. Heng Zhou Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist Heng is our newest member of the Body Logic Team and comes from a family of Acupuncturists and Herbal Practitioners. He studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at Xiamen University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Heng’s clinical experience covers a wide range of neurological and musculo-skeletal disorders as well as treatment success with stress-associated emotional, digestive, and menstrual disorders.
