Home Our Services Xero Making Tax Digital Contact About About Carolyn Walsh - Director I have been an active participant in all tax matters relating to PAYE regulations and employment status, from starting my career with HM Revenue & Customs, to working at director level for over 20 years in the temporary and freelance labour sector.My passion is helping small business owners to improve their administrative and accounting functions, by leveraging the business technologies that are available to them. Making Tax Digital will see almost all small business owners and sole traders using digital accounting, which will become obligatory for all but the smallest businesses: I anticipate that this will be a catalyst for creating better business processes, enabling growth and bringing cost savings for many business people. Using my experience in tax and payroll, and through running a small business for over twenty years, I've learned a thing or two. I strongly believe in taking advantage of the power new and ever evolving technologies, like Xero, enabling clients to maintain tax compliance, and to power up their business using a range of business tools that are readily available at little or no extra cost.I work alongside many tax professionals, each with a vast range of expertise, I write articles commenting on developments in the world of tax, and I employ fully trained and qualified team to help me in my mission. Being busy is a natural state for me!I remain involved in HMRC investigations where rogue firms have caused numerous issues for taxpayers, e.g. MSC legislation and Disguised Remuneration Schemes.
