The firm was formed in 2022 by the merger of two established accountancy practices, Guildway Accountants (established 1994) and Ridgell & Co (established in 1990). What we offer The firm’s principal is a CIMA qualified Chartered Management Accountant with over 40 years of experience in the business environment. He is supported by a team of experienced accountants who offer a range of compliance services for businesses and individuals, including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll, CIS, VAT, Year End Accounts and Tax. Our higher value services offers business focused accountancy to fit needs, looking at the health and robustness of the business. We can help you with cashflow analysis, taxation review, and business planning. More than just ‘accountants’, we have partnerships with aligned services such as pensions, financial advisors, mortgage brokers, solicitors and asset finance. Why choose us? The term “accountant” is loosely used in the UK. There is no legal requirement for people to be certified accountants in order to call themselves accountants. This means that anyone can call themselves an accountant, regardless of their qualifications or experience. The firm was formed in 2022 by the merger of two established accountancy practices, Guildway Accountants (established 1994) and Ridgell & Co (established in 1990). What we offer The firm’s principal is a CIMA qualified Chartered Management Accountant with over 40 years of experience in the business environment. He is supported by a team of experienced accountants who offer a range of compliance services for businesses and individuals, including but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll, CIS, VAT, Year End Accounts and Tax. Our higher value services offers business focused accountancy to fit needs, looking at the health and robustness of the business. We can help you with cashflow analysis, taxation review, and business planning. More than just ‘accountants’, we have partnerships with aligned services such as pensions, financial advisors, mortgage brokers, solicitors and asset finance. Why choose us? This means that anyone can call themselves an accountant, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
