In 1995 I became interested in Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST) and travelled to America to begin my training with The Upledger Institute. I worked in Sussex for some years before moving to Cornwall over 20 years ago. I integrate Osteopathy with CST, which makes every treatment unique. I am passionate about the combined Osteopathic/CST process and the difference it can make to my patients’ wellbeing and general health. Occasionally I work as a CST instructor for the Upledger Institute both in the UK and abroad. When I’m not working, I’m outdoors enjoying the Cornwall views, walks, beaches and woods with my dog Hector. I enjoy playing the piano and am currently working towards a performance diploma with Trinity College London. Book now Tish Reid I first experienced Osteopathy when I received treatment during my sporting career. I loved the whole approach and how much it helped me, and I went on to train and graduate from the British School of Osteopathy in 2009. I have had a varied and colourful career path, including being an international rower, web developer and scuba diver, but now love being a part of the clinic, collaborating with patients to help them make the changes they want to make. I have recently made the decision to de-register from the General Osteopathic Council. This means I can no longer describe myself as an osteopath, but will continue to use the skills, knowledge and experience I have gained over the years to provide the best care for my patients using holistic manual therapy and techniques. Outside of work I love living the Cornwall life on our small holding, with the bees, chickens and the dog and because I’m not busy enough, I’m also an automatic gate engineer! I take a structural approach to working with patients and believe in the importance of a holistic approach to boosting your health and well-being. Whether it’s a sports injury, day-to-day wear and tear, recovery after an illness or operation, or maintenance to avoid pain in the future, I can help you not only deal with the symptoms but also get to the underlying cause of the problem as well. When I’m not working, you can find me out walking with my two dogs or jumping into rivers and lakes to get a cold water hit. I completed the core curriculum with the UK Upledger Institute in 2023. I am passionate about being a CS therapist and facilitating clients on their journey whether that is dealing with a structural/pain problem or supporting the emotional process associated with previous injuries and/or trauma with SER (Somato-Emotional Release which is an integral part of Upledger CST). Prior to training in bodywork, I worked as an art and design historian for over 20 years and my PhD focused on the role of gardens within healthcare. I am also a trustee of the UK charity Silent Space. I divide my time between Cornwall and Spain and when not I’m not working I enjoy being outside gardening, walking and horse riding.
