The sessions are carried out by Katie Clarke, our resident chiropractor. Using a combination of manipulations, soft tissue techniques, mobilisation, stretching, exercises and other methods, we provide effective relief for all kinds of common muscle and joint ailments. We will get started with a thorough initial examination, followed by a treatment session (regular treatments will be dependent on the issue). About Katie Graduated with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic from the University of Glamorgan (now the University of South Wales) in 2009, I started the clinic in 2014. Initially I set up my business in Lakeside and Forest Gate surgeries, which gave me a great insight into how the wider health system works. After 6 years working there I moved my practice to Rockingham Forest Wellbeing, where I work alongside a team of osteopaths, massage therapists and other healthcare professionals Prior to starting my own practice I worked as part of a 5 member chiropractic clinic in Milton Keynes. I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and British Chiropractic Association and can provide treatments for all common chiropractic ailments. I have a keen interest in lifestyle medicine and how our diet, activity levels, mental health and general wellbeing can all influence our ability to recover, and I am also able to include advice on these topics if appropriate.
