It is such a friendly clinic, they have become dear friends and their care is outstanding. Their knowledge and explanation is rare and their honesty and 3 treatments plan is what I appreciate the most. I highly recommend this clinic. TracyL-129Yell Read More As per the previous review, I too have been attending this clinic for osteopathy treatment as and when I have needed it for many years. I cannot recommend the whole team highly enough. I usually see Jackie but I have also been treated by Aimee and Sophie. Between them they have a huge wealth of experience and I feel I am in very good hands and they always resolve my problems. Jackie recently treated a hip problem I'd been seeing an NHS physio for, for months. Even after one session it was such a huge relief and it only needed one follow up session. I have had no problems since! I have introduced most of my family members to the clinic now and they are all very pleased I have! Keep up the excellent work you do at the clinic! From one very grateful patient 🙂 CIreland80Yell Read More I had intense pain in my lower back, I have attended sessions for quite some time and I am seeing less pain in my back as a result. Highly recommended. Logan4Yell Read More I play a lot of sports and end up in some rough and tumble. Anytime I suffer an injury to my arms or legs, I come here for some well needed recuperation. Jackie is very attentive when I am explaining my pains and when I ask questions. This is the only clinic I attend as they are so helpful. Are you ready to begin the healing process? It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So osteopaths work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery. Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring. Who and what do osteopaths treat? Osteopaths’ patients include the young, older people, manual workers, office professionals, pregnant women, children and sportspeople. Patients seek treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, changes to posture in pregnancy, postural problems caused by driving or work strain, the pain of arthritis and minor sports injuries. Regulation of osteopathy All osteopaths in the UK are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).Osteopaths are required to renew their registration each year and we provide registrants with an annual licence to practise. As part of this process, the GOsC checks that osteopaths have current professional indemnity insurance, remain in good health and of good character, and have met mandatory continuing professional development requirements.
